About FCYF
First Class Youth Foundation (FCYF) arose from the idea of offering Surinamese youth support in their personal growth and search for their place in society.
Since FCYF has its origins from First Class Boxing, the sport is primarily used to keep them on the right path. Preconditions are also created to help where necessary with, for example, achieving good/better school performance. This is because not every young person can receive guidance or support from home.
The talented pupils are guided through First Class Boxing in the process to become a professional martial artist. This is also an opportunity to put Suriname positively on the map.
Those who do not get to progress to the top of the sport are given tools to acquire their place in society and in other areas and thus guided to a healthy career.
Goals
We set our goals by considering what we want to achieve and then commit to it. Goal setting is a powerful process for thinking about the ideal future, which can be motivating for us but also for those around us, to turn the vision into reality.
By developing, supporting, guiding, and stimulating cultural, educational and sports activities.
Promoting and guiding the social and cultural interest of the residents in Suriname.
Providing support for those in needs:
Providing assistance to target groups in projects formulation and fundraising.
Setting up a sports and community center.
Providing opportunities to already existing associations and/or foundations active in these fields.
Cooperate both nationally and internationally with associations, foundations and other targeted institutions.
Organizing seminars, information and discussion sessions.
